The Portage Lightning U12 boys Elite team entered the most competitive division of the Capital Area Classic in Lansing and came away champions. They outplayed Michigan Rush 3-1, Georgetown Rangers 6-3, and OSC Scorpions 7-0 in pool play before defeating Michigan Chill 8-1 in the Championship game.
