In 2008, Pfizer Corporation agreed to a long term lease with the Portage Soccer club for the property at the corner of Cox's Drive and Zylman Avenue.   Since that time, the club has established a beautiful dedicated practice complex with eight fields and two training grids for teams to use.  Each field has two goals which teams can use for practice.    Thanks to this deal, teams no longer have to compete with other clubs for space to practice. (Practice Schedule/Field Assignments)

To get these fields looking as nice as they do, over 270 families volunteered at the practice facility during the fall of 2007 to get the fields ready to use in the spring of 2008. (see photos below)

Please remember the same complex rules are in effect: no pets, no parking on the grass, no smoking, alcohol or drugs and no unauthorized use. Cars should enter and stay on the right half of the parking area as they drive further in. Please park sharply in, squarely facing the fields and as close together as practical so we can fit as many cars as possible; particularly on Thursday evenings. As always, PLEASE DRIVE CAREFULLY.

The Pfizer adult league will be moving back to River Oaks this spring. This will releive demand for fields on Thursday evenings and allow us to rest fields that are in need of repair. The advantage to PSC having rented fields to the Pfizer league is that the rental money was used to maintain and improve the quality of the turf at this complex.
