FALL 2011 PRACTICE FIELD SCHEDULES

The PSC Facilities Committee reserves the right to move teams based on turf conditions.
Otherwise, teams are asked to practice on the field they're assigned to even out the wear. If we wear out
the grass in front of the goals, it won't come back unless we take that area out of service for 18 months.

A north-south stripe on field 2 was seeded last fall, and to help that grass become established, we'll stay off that area by continuing to only use small-sided field 2 east of that area. Reseeding on field 1 the year before has struggled due to the drought last summer, but if we have a wet spring, we hope it'll be ready to use this fall; in the meanwhile, we want to only use the established part of field 1 in the southeast area that's being used as a U10 field.

If you want to change your team's field assignment or time, it's important that you email nbjansen@gmail.com with your request so we can notify facilities volunteers who cut grass and stripe lines (there could be other work done that might restrict access at times). Without proper notification, the field planned to use may be out of service for cutting or striping, or you may not be able to get into the area.
